The Uganda Project

The Uganda Project is an interdisciplinary course that seeks to understand and address extreme poverty in Africa. It includes a travel component to Uganda over Spring Break that will allow students to meet with social entrepreneurs, women's empowerment groups and conservationists in an effort to collectively develop solutions to the world's greatest social and environmental injustices.

Spring Break Service Trips

在一周内, students spend their days serving with the sponsoring organizations and spend their evenings exploring the local area and reflecting as a team on their experiences. Our spring break service trips provide opportunities for students to build lasting friendships with fellow Regis students, explore new parts of the country and serve communities in need. Our students have traveled as close as Boulder, CO and as far away as Battambang, Cambodia.

Alternative Spring Break

Alternative Spring Break trips are designed to engage students in issues of social justice through cultural immersion. 学生s fully live out the mission of Regis University: being in service for and with others and gaining a sense of solidarity with our brothers and sisters throughout the world. All trips have regular meetings that include course-like preparation for the trip. Some trips include a course credit.
